Fixin' it up in Texas

Hey Y’all!
Well we are having a great time down here in Texas. It looks like my beloved has already explained most of what we have been doing and where we have been eating on his blog at www.musthavemore.com. In any case it’s been a trip and a half already and we are not even half done yet!

On Sunday we had a fab day… we spoke at refuge in the morning which felt like being with Family again. They had balloons up and a banner for when we came and welcomed us in like royalty… it was so fun! We then went on to Deliverance Bible Church with a quick put stop at Quizno’s on the way. Deliverance is an incredible church with radical believers who are really passionate. It was such a pleasure to be back there and also to get to spend time with Cleetus and Nicole and their kids as well. We have eaten more amazing food in the last few days then …. well …. then I needed to, and let’s just leave it at that! We also spent a day going into Dallas and doing a little walking adventure of a number of Tattoo parlors and then up to where JFK was shot. There was a guy on the corner who was showing us a magazine with pictures of JFK in the morgue and stuff… it was pretty sick and brought back some not so great memories for me but other then that it was interesting.

Today we mostly stayed home and rested at the house that has been lent to us . It’s pretty tough to take really… king size bed, swimming pool, Jacuzzi tub, you know suffering for Jesus and all that! No seriously this lovely couple is out of town but has given us free use of their beautiful house and as we have a day or two to rest it has been a lovely place to be.

So over the next few days the plan is to have rest and God time during the day and get ready for Georgetown on the weekend and then meet up with friends at night. We miss you all back home in TO and look forward to seeing you next week…… Much love…
