We checked into the Four Points in Darling Harbour Sydney on Wednesday. This was the view from our upgraded suite!

Alyn planned a day for me last Thursday where I got to pick everything we did all day, where we ate, and what we saw and then also got a back rub, foot rub and head rub out of the deal! It was our "it's your birthday next week and this is your day" day.

We went to this gorgeous mall built in the 1800's as a mall for Queen Victoria. Aptly named the Queen Victoria Building it was one of the posh-est malls I have ever walked through with stores like Dolche Cabaña and Versace. I bought a pair of ear rings there with some birthday money and we had lunch and watched the people walk by. It was awesome. In the centre of the mall was a 3 story tree covered in Sworski crystal. The picture is only the top portion of the tree.

On Friday Katherine arrived from New Zealand and we did a brief tour of Sydney before driving to North Sydney to experience the best pies I have ever had! They had Chicken, avocado and brie pies to give you an idea of the type of pie available!




We are currently in Canberra (the nations capital) staying with Alli and Andrew and eating lots of great food. (Alli and Andrew are the gorgeous couple on the left in the picture!) traveling with us for the Oz portion of our trip is the beautiful and talented Kiwi known as Katherine Ellis (She was on Alyn's school and hosted us at a conference when we were in New Zealand last March)



Today is Nov 13th over here and you know what that means don't you! Yep, I am 35 years Old today! Shocking! Of course for the North American contingent you can celebrate tomorrow if you like!
